Frank Bartela

Frank Bartela is dedicated to ensuring accountability from corporations and government entities on behalf of consumers and taxpayers. As an Associate in the firm's Class Action practice group, he focuses on complex civil litigation, including consumer class actions and wage and hour disputes. His work spans both Ohio and national cases, advocating for those affected by unlawful conduct of government agencies, manufacturers, retailers, and employers.

Frank has successfully served as class counsel in numerous cases, achieving significant outcomes for his clients. His achievements include certifying multi-state and national consumer classes in 'snake oil' claims against prominent manufacturers, securing favorable settlements for individuals overcharged on title insurance policies by a regional company, and negotiating settlements for Cleveland restaurant employees denied proper overtime pay. Additionally, Frank has effectively challenged dispositive motions in cases against retailers accused of unlawful advertising and marketing practices.

Frank's academic credentials include graduating magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2007, where he double-majored in History and Political Science and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2011. During his time in law school, he contributed as an articles editor for the Journal of International Law and assisted Professor Lewis Katz in updating Ohio Arrest, Search, and Seizure.
