William Harry Hunt

William Harry Hunt has been a dedicated trial attorney in Ohio for more than 44 years. His extensive courtroom experience includes appearances before the Ohio Supreme Court, various Ohio courts of appeals, and trial courts at both county and municipal levels. He has also represented clients before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

Mr. Hunt's litigation practice encompasses a wide range of areas such as commercial litigation, construction, personal injury, wrongful death, domestic relations, collections, contracts, probate litigation, and public utility matters. With the rise of collaborative law as an alternative in divorce cases, Mr. Hunt has shifted his focus within family law to emphasize this approach. He advocates for interest-based negotiation, which he believes offers significant advantages over traditional divorce litigation.

In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Hunt is a skilled arbitrator, mediator, neutral evaluator, guardian ad litem, and parenting coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Master of Science in industrial administration from Purdue University, completed in 1969 and 1970 respectively. He graduated magna cum laude from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1975.

Since his admission to the bar, Mr. Hunt has pursued further training in collaborative law, general and divorce mediation, and as a guardian ad litem and parenting coordinator. He is an approved Guardian ad litem and Parenting Coordinator, as well as a neutral evaluator, for the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Division of Domestic Relations.
