Jeffrey Heck

Jeffrey Heck brings over four decades of legal expertise to his practice in Mansfield, Ohio, focusing on injury, wrongful death, insurance claims, civil litigation, and labor and employment law. A court-trained mediator and private mediator/arbitrator, Jeff is committed to resolving disputes effectively.

Jeff's roots are deeply embedded in North Central Ohio, having grown up in Mansfield. He graduated from Malabar High School and earned his degree from The Ohio State University, where he was a dedicated member and Squad Leader of the university's marching band. He achieved his law degree with honors from the University of Florida College of Law.

Licensed to practice in both Ohio and Florida, as well as in federal district and appellate courts, Jeff began his career at a large Florida law firm. In the late 1980s, he returned to Mansfield to serve his community.

Jeff is deeply involved in community service, co-founding and chairing the board of 33 Forever, Inc., a mental health non-profit. He also serves as Treasurer for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. His community contributions include four terms on the Lexington Local Schools Board of Education and leadership roles with the Renaissance Performing Arts Association and the Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio. He has also been involved with the University Club of Mansfield and the Richland County Foundation.

In the legal community, Jeff has held roles such as Secretary of the Richland County Bar Association and Litigation Chair of its Certified Grievance Committee. He served 22 years on the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates, is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and participates in various OSBA committees and task forces.

Jeff is affiliated with the Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association, and the Florida Bar.
