About James Dearie
James A. Dearie has been practicing law since 1993, representing clients in civil, criminal, and traffic matters throughout the Ohio court system, up to the Ohio Supreme Court. He is a dedicated member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Warren County Bar Association, and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Jim graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1990, earning a BA in Economics. He continued his education at the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating with honors in 1993. Following law school, he completed a clerkship with a U.S. District Court Judge in Montgomery, Alabama.
Jim served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, for four years. Upon leaving the Army in 1999, he transitioned to private practice, representing clients in southwestern Ohio.
He is currently on the executive committee of the Warren County Criminal Justice Board and has served on the boards of directors for the Elizabeth’s New Life Center and the Mary, Seat of Wisdom, High School Studies Group, Inc.
