Sarah Elizabeth Michel, a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, is deeply committed to serving her community. A proud graduate of William Mason High School, her passion for the city has fueled her dedication to legal advocacy. After earning her Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2008, where she was active in Phi Alpha Delta and the Ohio State Club Crew team, Sarah pursued her legal education at the University of Dayton, graduating in 2011.
During her time at law school, she was involved with Phi Alpha Delta, the Volunteer Student Law Project, and the Volunteer Income Tax Association. Her academic achievements include a CALI award in Cyberspace Law and a Pro Bono Commitment to the Community award. Post-graduation, Sarah began her legal career as an intern at the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office in the juvenile division, later becoming an employee and representing juveniles in delinquency cases.
In 2012, Sarah transitioned to private practice, working with various firms in the Dayton area before returning to Cincinnati. Her practice encompasses divorce, custody, child support, abuse, dependency and neglect cases, adoptions, estate planning and probate, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Sarah has also represented local fire departments, assisting with union negotiations and contract litigation. Her legal experience spans multiple counties, including Montgomery, Preble, Greene, Warren, Clinton, and Hamilton.
