Frank Bartela

Frank Bartela is a dedicated attorney committed to ensuring accountability for corporations and government entities through his work in class action and business litigation. As an Associate in the firm's Class Action practice group, he handles complex civil actions, including consumer class actions and wage and hour disputes. His practice is focused on defending the rights of clients in Ohio and across the United States.

Bartela's current cases address unlawful actions by government agencies, manufacturers, retailers, and employers. He has successfully served as class counsel in numerous cases nationwide. Notably, he achieved class certification for consumers in multi-state and national "snake oil" cases against prominent manufacturers. He also secured a favorable settlement for individuals overcharged for title insurance and for Cleveland restaurant employees not compensated for overtime. Bartela graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo) in 2007, majoring in History and Political Science, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2011, where he served as an articles editor for the Journal of International Law and as a research assistant to Professor Lewis Katz, contributing to Ohio Arrest, Search and Seizure research.
