Kenneth Jude Cahill

Since 1991, Kenneth Jude Cahill has been a committed advocate in the field of family law, prioritizing the best interests of families and children. His career began as an Assistant Lake County Prosecutor, where he enforced and modified child support orders. He later served in the Lake County Prosecutor’s Juvenile Division, representing the Lake County Department of Jobs & Family Services to protect dependent, neglected, and abused children.

In 1993, Ken transitioned to private practice, concentrating on family law, before joining Dworken & Bernstein in 2000. His expertise extends to prosecuting juvenile offenders and he is frequently appointed by trial courts as Guardian Ad Litem, ensuring children's best interests are represented.

Ken Cahill is also a noted speaker on family law issues, frequently lecturing on topics such as legislative developments, marital and separate property, and child custody. As chair of the Family Law Committee, he continues to influence and contribute to the field.
