Katie L. Griffin

Katie L. Griffin began her journey in the Rogers County legal community in 2017 as a legal administrative assistant at Higgins & Easley, P.C., while pursuing her studies at Rogers State University. By 2018, she advanced to the role of legal assistant and office manager at Dale R. Marlar Law Office, PLLC. In 2022, she co-founded Griffin & Sears, PLLC with Noah Sears.

Graduating magna cum laude in 2019, Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration management and was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of Professional Studies. Her legal education continued at the University of Tulsa College of Law, where she focused on Native American Law and earned her Juris Doctor with Honor in 2022.

Katie provides comprehensive legal services, including assistance with divorces, adoptions, guardianships, business formations, estate planning, probates, name changes, small claims, civil litigation, criminal defense, and the evolving landscape of Native American law. Her strong client relationships are a testament to her commitment to effective advocacy.

As a citizen of Cherokee Nation, Katie's work is informed by her cultural heritage, advocating for restorative justice alternatives. She has completed mediation courses in compliance with the Oklahoma District Court Mediation Act, focusing on Family, Divorce, Civil, Commercial, and Employment Mediation.

Katie is an active member of the Rogers County Bar Association and serves on the Steering Committee for the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Her empathetic and inclusive approach aims to dismantle traditional barriers in the justice system, empowering clients to navigate their legal challenges and tell their stories effectively.
