About M. Shane Henry
M. Shane Henry, an AV Preeminent Rated Trial Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, focuses his practice on Trial Advocacy. He earned his Bachelor's in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2006.
Mr. Henry is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, Creek County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is involved with the Family Law Division of the Oklahoma Bar Association and has served on the Continuing Legal Education and Social committees. In 2013, he was the CLE Chair and Chair Elect for the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section, and in 2014, he served as its Chair.
His professional affiliations extend to the OBA Young Lawyers Division, ABA Family Law Section, and ABA Young Lawyers Division, as well as the Tulsa County Bar Association Family Law Division. Mr. Henry completed the introductory seminar for Family Law Associates with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2010 and the Advanced Training Seminar on Negotiations at Harvard Law School in 2012.
Mr. Henry has contributed to Continuing Legal Education, presenting on Social Media Discovery at the 2011 Oklahoma Bar Annual Meeting and serving as an expert witness on attorney’s fees. In 2012, he completed the ABA/NITA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in Boulder, CO, and in 2013, the Houston Family Law Trial Institute. He also finished the Roger Dodd Trial Skills training on advanced cross-examination in 2014.
He has delivered numerous CLE courses on Family Law topics and was a co-founder, teacher, and presenter at the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section Trial Advocacy Institute's inaugural event.
