About Mack Kelly Martin
Mack K. Martin has dedicated his entire career to the field of criminal defense. Throughout his practice, he has represented clients in numerous cases across Oklahoma and beyond, including states such as Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, and several others, as well as in Washington, D.C. His expertise extends to both state and federal courts.
Mack's professional accolades are numerous. He received the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association Lord Erskine Lifetime Achievement Award in Criminal Defense in 2000. In 2003, he was honored with the Outstanding Law Review Alumni Award from Oklahoma City University School of Law. His contributions to the legal field were further recognized with the Oklahoma Bar Association Criminal Law Section 2006 Professional Advocate Award, the William J. Holloway, Jr. Inn of Courts Service Award in 2001-2002, and the Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyer Division Outstanding Service to the Bar in 1989. He has consistently been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1993 and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in Oklahoma since 2006.
Mack is also an active Continuing Legal Education lecturer throughout Oklahoma, offering his insights and expertise to various Bar Associations and groups. His leadership roles include serving as Vice President of the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2010, President of the Oklahoma County Bar Association from 2010-2011, and President of the Federal Bar Association, Oklahoma City Chapter, from 1992-1993. He was also President of the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association in 1988.
Additionally, Mack is a Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He holds a Lifetime Membership with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is a Master at the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inns of Court and the Ruth Bader Ginzberg American Inn of Court.
