Sara E. Potts

Sara E. Potts is an accomplished attorney with a focus on general and business litigation, business and corporate transactions, contract drafting, review, and disputes, administrative law, nursing home litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and construction law. She provides strategic counsel on business practices, corporate formation, liability issues, and employer/employee contractual relationships. Since earning her degree magna cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2014, Sara has actively served as associate counsel in numerous state and federal lawsuits, as well as various administrative and agency proceedings.

Before her current role at Doerner, Sara honed her legal skills at a private litigation firm in Oklahoma City, where she led motion practice and pre-trial litigation for a wide range of clients. During her law school tenure, she was the Executive Editor for the Oklahoma City University Law Review, a Student Member of the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court, and a recipient of four CALI Awards for Excellence and the Dean’s Legal Ethics Award for Excellence.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Sara gained over a decade of experience in the hospitality sector, working with a prominent restaurant management company in Oklahoma City.
