About Josh Dean Lee
Josh Dean Lee is a distinguished attorney in Miami, Oklahoma, with an AV Preeminent Rating. He is highly regarded for his extensive knowledge in forensic science, having delivered over 300 lectures across 22 states and two countries. In addition to his law degree, he has earned a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida. Josh is a Nationally Registered EMT and serves as an instructor and co-founder of the Forensic Chromatography programs at Axion Analytical Labs in Chicago, IL.
Josh has shared his expertise at prestigious gatherings such as the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS) national meetings. In 2011, he was chosen as the Forensic Science Co-Chairman for the Chemistry and the Law Division of the ACS. He is also an “Assistant Chromatography Instructor” for the ACS and is the only attorney in Oklahoma recognized as an “ACS Forensic Lawyer-Scientist” by the Chemistry and the Law Division of the ACS.
In recognition of his leadership, Josh was named a top “40 Under 40” young leader by Oklahoma Magazine in 2018. He has been honored with two President’s Awards from the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a Dean’s Award from the National College for DUI Defense, and the Fern Holland Courageous Lawyer Award from the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2018.
As a published author, Josh has contributed to numerous topics, including gas chromatography, blood testing, breath testing, oral fluid testing, forensic science reform, drug testing, drug analogues, search and seizure, and trial advocacy. He is also the Founder and Managing Editor of FOIBible.com, a platform dedicated to promoting government transparency in Oklahoma.
Josh is a founding member of The Lee Firm and has served as a Board Member of Freedom of Information Oklahoma, Inc. He is a Past President of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association Justice Foundation.
