Jacquelyn 'Jacqui' Ford

Jacquelyn 'Jacqui' Ford, a native of Oklahoma City, is a passionate advocate for those facing criminal charges. She graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma State University in 2002, earning a degree in Business Administration and Marketing while simultaneously working full-time in sales and marketing. She then pursued her law degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating with distinction in 2006.

During law school, Jacquelyn gained valuable experience in the OU Legal Clinic, where she defended individuals accused of crimes. This experience cemented her lifelong commitment to criminal defense. Her excellence in pro bono representation was acknowledged with the Kelly Beardslee Criminal Defense Award. After passing the bar, she served over five years as an Oklahoma County Public Defender, representing more than 3,000 individuals facing felony charges. Her peers honored her with the Clarence Darrow Award for her exceptional trial advocacy skills.

In 2011, Jacquelyn established her own law firm to continue her mission of defending individuals whose rights and futures are at stake. She is driven by the belief that no one should navigate the legal system alone, and her team is dedicated to protecting clients with both strength and compassion.

Outside the courtroom, Jacquelyn is an active educator and leader within the legal community. She regularly presents continuing legal education for the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, where she also serves on the Board of Directors. In 2013, she completed the Trial Lawyers College program and later joined its faculty, where she trains lawyers nationwide in advanced trial skills.
