Prior to joining the Reynolds Defense Office, Michael developed his career in public defense in Lane County. He managed a diverse range of misdemeanor and felony cases, working from arraignment to resolution. His experience includes supporting clients with mental health challenges, earning him a reputation for patience and dedication to each person's unique circumstances. Michael values building genuine trust as essential for effective advocacy and achieving meaningful results.

Michael's legal perspective is enriched by his experience as a judicial assistant in the Lane County District Court. This role provided him with a practical understanding of judicial decision-making and courtroom dynamics, enhancing his ability to craft persuasive arguments and strategies.

In his practice, Michael brings a balanced and thoughtful approach to legal disputes. He is committed not only to achieving favorable outcomes but also to ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the process. Outside of his legal work, Michael enjoys practicing golf, exploring photography and videography, cooking, and attending concerts. He plays the guitar and finds relaxation in skateboarding, snowboarding, and meditation. Additionally, he contributes to the community through expungement clinics and community legal service projects.
