Michael G. Romano

Michael G. Romano is a dedicated attorney serving clients from his offices in Aloha, Oregon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy, from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he gained valuable experience clerking for the Marion County District Legal Counsel’s Office.

Admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2000, Mr. Romano began his legal career as a prosecutor in Klamath, Coos, and Deschutes Counties. In 2006, he launched his private practice in Bend, Oregon, focusing on family law and criminal defense. By 2013, he expanded his practice with an additional office in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Mr. Romano has a robust trial background, having tried hundreds of jury trials and numerous bench trials. He is skilled in both traditional and video-recorded depositions and has spent thousands of hours in Oregon courtrooms. Committed to professional development, he consistently exceeds the Continuing Legal Education requirements of the Oregon State Bar.

He is an active member of several legal associations, including the Oregon Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Deschutes County Bar Association, the Multnomah County Bar Association, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the DUI Defense Lawyers Association, and the National College of DUI Defense.
