Shawn A Kollie

Shawn A Kollie is an accomplished attorney focusing on Criminal Defense and Second Amendment Rights across the State of Oregon. Practicing in nearly every county, as well as Federal Courts, Shawn has built a robust career representing clients in major felony and firearm matters through his firm, Kollie Law, PC, located in Medford, Oregon.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Shawn completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University before earning his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. During his law school years, he gained invaluable experience interning with the Lane County Public Defender’s Office, handling appointed criminal cases. In his second year, he joined a small corporate office in Portland, focusing exclusively on criminal and DUII defense, where he honed his skills under the guidance of former prosecutors.

Shawn has taken hundreds of cases to trial, leveraging his certification by NHTSA and IACP to conduct field sobriety tests, which he applies in DMV hearings and DUI trials. As an NRA Licensed Pistol Instructor, he has taught numerous Concealed Handgun classes and advised clients on obtaining and contesting Federal Firearms Licenses.

After extensive practice in Portland and Bend, Shawn relocated to Medford, Oregon, with his family to establish Kollie Law, PC and Oregon Gun Law. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, hiking, hunting, and shooting. Shawn is married and the proud father of twin boys.
