Ethan P. Meaney

Ethan P. Meaney is a seasoned attorney with a focus on DUII criminal defense in Minnesota and Oregon. He is currently affiliated with Donahue Law Firm in Bend, Oregon, where he continues to advocate for clients facing DUII charges.

Ethan's legal journey began after graduating magna cum laude from Northern State University in 1996. He earned his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1999, finishing in the top quarter of his class. His early career included a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Richard C. Perkins at the Minnesota First Judicial District Court.

Ethan then joined the firm of Hoff, Barry & Kuderer in Minneapolis, where he served as the sole criminal DWI prosecutor. This role provided him with invaluable insights into DWI law from a prosecutorial perspective, which he now leverages to effectively defend his clients.

In 2005, Ethan co-founded the criminal defense firm Meaney & Patrin, PA, also known as The DWI GUYS, in Minnesota. There, he represented thousands of clients in DWI/DUI cases, handling numerous license revocation, vehicle forfeiture, criminal DWI, and appellate cases.
