Jonathan David Mishkin

Jonathan D. Mishkin, LL.M., brings more than 15 years of experience in tax and estate planning. He specializes in individual, corporate, international, and real estate taxation, applying his extensive knowledge to assist clients with asset protection and tax mitigation strategies. Mr. Mishkin holds degrees in economics and political science from the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center. As a Graduate Tax Policy Scholar, he advised the United States Congress on tax policy and legislation.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Mishkin serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he teaches Tax Practice and Procedure (audit defense). He is also a regular lecturer at the Portland State University Tax Practitioner Institute, covering a variety of tax topics. His contributions to the field include extensive lectures for continuing education credits and published articles on taxation.

Mr. Mishkin is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland. He is also dedicated to community service, volunteering and sponsoring organizations such as the Oregon Humane Society, Tigard-Tualatin Swim Club, West Linn Baseball Association, and the Portland BoyChoir.
