Michael Stadnick

Michael Stadnick brings a wealth of experience to his role as co-founder of Stadnick Nowierski-Stadnick LLP, established in 2021. With nearly twenty years of experience in complex trials and appeals across the United States, Michael has served as trial counsel for a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to small private enterprises, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

His legal career includes serving as counsel in cases resulting in over $100 million in settlements and jury verdicts exceeding $1 billion, alongside several complete defense verdicts. Michael's trial work has been recognized in prominent publications, including "This Verdict Made Jaws Drop" in The National Law Journal and "Deals & Suits: Rambus v. Infineon" in Corporate Counsel.

Prior to relocating to Bend, Oregon, Michael practiced in New York City for nearly two decades. He was a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP before co-founding Desmarais LLP in 2010. At Desmarais, he played a pivotal role in expanding the firm from a three-lawyer office to a team of over 50 attorneys, earning recognition from Vault as one of the top five midsize firms in New York City.

Michael earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. He also holds a master's degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University.
