Patricia Louise Nelson

Patricia Louise Nelson is a distinguished attorney in Bend, Oregon, specializing in estate planning and estate administration including probate. Raised in Montana, Patricia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with honors from the University of Montana. She initially worked in California before pursuing her legal education.

Patricia graduated magna cum laude from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, in 1993. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Edward Levy at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Portland, Oregon, from 1993 to 1994. After her clerkship, Patricia relocated to Bend, Oregon, where she joined Merrill O'Sullivan, contributing to the firm for nearly 12 years.

In 2006, Patricia established her own legal practice. Her work has since evolved to concentrate on estate planning and estate administration. Patricia is dedicated to guiding families through the probate process and assisting clients in organizing their affairs during challenging times.

Outside of her legal career, Patricia enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing. In 2016, she skied and backpacked around Crater Lake. Additionally, she is an ordained Minister of Walking Prayer through the Center for Sacred Studies in San Francisco. Patricia is the proud mother of two grown sons who continue to inspire her.
