Mia Getlin

Mia Getlin is a seasoned business attorney based in Portland, Oregon, practicing at Gleam Law. She is a member of the Oregon and Washington State Bars and specializes in general business law with a focus on the legal marijuana, hemp, and CBD sectors. Mia is recognized for her deep expertise in cannabis tax law, cannabis licensing, and psychedelics law.

Mia has served a diverse clientele in the cannabis industry, including OLCC licensees, policy advocates, and industrial hemp businesses. She holds leadership roles as the Vice President and Secretary of the Oregon Industry Progress Association, a political action group dedicated to advancing business-friendly changes to Oregon’s recreational cannabis policy.

An honors graduate of UCLA and Pepperdine Law, Mia began her career in public accounting with KPMG, where she provided internal control audit and advisory services to large corporations in the retail, banking, and automotive sectors. After relocating to Oregon in 2014, she shifted her focus to business law, particularly within the burgeoning cannabis industry.
