Rhett L. Bernstein

Rhett L. Bernstein was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, where he also obtained a specialized certificate in criminal law and procedure. During his law school years, he clerked for the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office and Judge Ronald Thom of the Clackamas County Circuit Court.

In the early stages of his career, Rhett L. Bernstein served as a deputy district attorney in the Willamette Valley, where he prosecuted major felonies. In 2005, he founded his own law firm in the Portland area, focusing on criminal representation, estate planning, and probate. His firm has since expanded to provide comprehensive legal services, including prosecutorial services for municipalities such as West Linn, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, and Milwaukie.

In 2013, Rhett L. Bernstein was elected as the judge of the Municipal Court for the City of West Linn. He is committed to assisting families with estate organization through the creation of wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, and living wills. His firm is adept at guiding families through the probate process, whether dealing with small estates or more complex probate matters.

Under his leadership, the firm has developed a sophisticated approach to handling estates of varying complexity.
