William Wardlow

William Wardlow leads Wardlow Law, a firm dedicated to serving individuals and businesses with needs in intellectual property, business law, and entertainment law. For more than two decades, the firm has been instrumental in safeguarding creative assets, negotiating agreements, halting infringements, and securing financial and injunctive relief for clients.

Mr. Wardlow began his legal career at the prestigious Hollywood law firm Codikow, Carroll, Guido & Groffman. There, he worked with high-profile clients, including record labels, publishing companies, and artists such as Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, William S. Burroughs, Natalie Merchant, and Blondie.

After his tenure in Hollywood, Wardlow established a private practice in San Diego, focusing on Intellectual Property, Business Law, and Consumer Protection. Since 2005, as a resident of Bend, Oregon, he has provided counsel to startups, partnerships, corporations, non-profit organizations, and individuals. His expertise spans intellectual property licensing, business and real estate transactions, contract negotiation, arbitration and mediation, regulatory compliance, employment law, administrative law, and civil litigation.

A notable achievement in his recent career includes a successful four-week jury trial before Judge Gonzalo Curiel, addressing complex issues related to trade secrets, employment, and Oracle software.
