Kent Anderson

Since obtaining his Oregon law license in 1978, Kent Anderson has built a distinguished career as a tax and debt relief attorney, with a strong emphasis on consumer advocacy. In 1979, he was admitted to practice before the US District Court for the District of Oregon and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Anderson is certified in Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification and has consistently practiced in the Oregon Bankruptcy Court since joining the federal court bar. He serves as the Oregon State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

As a contributor to the Bankruptcy Law Network, Mr. Anderson collaborates with fellow bankruptcy professionals to produce comprehensive publications on bankruptcy and consumer matters at www.bankruptcylawnetwork.com. He frequently presents on topics such as the bankruptcy discharge of tax liability, most recently for the Oregon Society of Tax Consultants, and regularly speaks to legal and tax groups, as well as at conferences.
