Ryan Mergl

Ryan Mergl is a distinguished trial lawyer and former prosecutor with a robust practice in Pennsylvania and the United States Federal Courts. He has earned recognition as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, highlighting his peer recognition and professional achievements. Additionally, he is listed among the Top 100 Criminal Defendant Attorneys in Pennsylvania by the Association of American Trial Lawyers. Pittsburgh Magazine also honored him as one of Western Pennsylvania's '40 Under 40'.

Mergl is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He holds a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Film Studies from Franklin and Marshall College. His early career included an internship at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and two years at the Duquesne University Legal Clinic, where he assisted US Veterans and provided pro bono services to indigent clients and non-profits.
