Marina Kats

Marina Kats was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1979. She graduated from Temple University and earned her L.L.M. in trial advocacy from the Beasley School of Law, becoming one of the few women nationally to achieve this distinction.

In 1995, she established KATS, Jamison & Associates, a prominent litigation firm with offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. The firm specializes in civil and criminal litigation, achieving notable successes such as representing families before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and securing multi-million dollar verdicts.

Ms. Kats is admitted to the bar associations of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New York, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey, and is involved with the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer’s Association. She serves on the Temple University School of Law Alumni Board and has lectured at Temple University, other educational institutions, and the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Her leadership extends to being a Board of Trustees member at Albert Einstein Hospital and serving on the Board for the Einstein Society and the Advisory Board to the President of Temple University. Ms. Kats's accomplishments have been recognized by her selection as a Philadelphia Super Lawyer and as Woman of the Year by Philly Magazine.
