Gabriela G. Raful

Gabriela G. Raful graduated magna cum laude from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Sciences and Paralegal Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, where she was actively involved in the International Law Society, eventually serving as its president. Gabriela excelled in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition, earning an award for best brief.

At Widener, Gabriela was honored with the Pamela K Karpouzis Memorial Scholarship Award and the Paul Isaac Leiter Memorial Scholarship Award. Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to effectively serve the Hispanic community, eliminating language and cultural barriers.

Gabriela is passionate about immigrant rights and advocating for injured workers. In 2006, she played a key role in organizing a 'Day without an Immigrant' march in Reading, PA, attended by over 3,000 people advocating for immigration reform. She continues to support immigrants through pro bono representation.

Active in the Berks County Bar Association, Gabriela serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-chair of the Minority Law Section, which aims to ensure equal participation of minorities in the justice system. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court appointed her to the Monitoring & Evaluation Team of the Language Access Advisory Group for the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania, where she assists in overseeing and evaluating the statewide language access plan.
