Jacob A Gurwitz

Jacob A. Gurwitz is a seasoned criminal trial attorney at Feeney & Gurwitz, located in Reading, Pennsylvania. With a strong focus on criminal law, he has managed a wide array of cases, including disorderly conduct, DUI, murder, and other violent crimes. He provides legal representation to clients across Berks, Lancaster, Allentown, and Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Gurwitz attended the University of Texas at Dallas on a full scholarship, where he earned bachelor's degrees in government and political science and served as student body president. He then pursued his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, graduating as the top trial advocate and receiving the prestigious James J. Manderino Award from the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Since 2006, Mr. Gurwitz has been dedicated to criminal trial law, achieving recognition as a SuperLawyers magazine Rising Star multiple times. In 2008, he became a partner at Feeney & Gurwitz LLC, where he continues to represent clients in cases ranging from misdemeanors to death penalty murder trials.

Active in his professional community, Mr. Gurwitz is a member of both the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has served on the PBA Board of Governors and has held leadership roles, including chairing the PBA Young Lawyer's Division.
