Julie J. Marburger

Julie J. Marburger is a seasoned attorney in Berks County, Pennsylvania, with a primary focus on Family Law and Real Estate Law. Her practice is centered on litigating complex divorce, custody, and support cases. Julie's formative years were spent in the southern United States, growing up near Atlanta, Georgia. She pursued her undergraduate education at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, earning a double Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation & Community Planning and Art History. Furthering her education, she obtained a Masters of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia in Athens.

Julie attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she gained valuable experience through internships. She served as a legal intern for the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, D.C., and worked as a clerk for Justice John A. Manglona of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in Saipan.

Her bar admissions include the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Georgia, and the United States Supreme Court. In 2014, Julie was honored with the “Select Lawyer” award in Family Law, reflecting her strong community reputation, quality service, and adherence to best practices. From 2016 to 2019, she was recognized as a Rising Star, celebrating her professional excellence among lawyers aged 40 and younger.

Julie plays an active role in the Berks County Bar Association, serving as chair of the Law Day and Entertainment Committees, co-vice chair of the Family Law Section, and as a board member for the Endlich Law Club. Additionally, she participates in the Young Lawyers Division. Her commitment extends to community planning, where she is the vice-chair of the Amity Township Planning Commission and the Pottstown Historic Architecture Review Board.
