Ryan William McAllister

Ryan William McAllister is a founding partner of Ebner, Nevins & McAllister, LLC, where he focuses on criminal defense, corporate law, and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) defense. He has a robust track record representing clients across a spectrum of criminal matters, from traffic offenses at the district justice level to serious felonies in jury trials.

In addition to his criminal defense work, Attorney McAllister handles family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support issues. He also manages landlord/tenant disputes in both magisterial district courts and the court of common pleas.

Mr. McAllister earned his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and holds an undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He is a member of both the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Before founding his firm, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in Berks County and gained valuable experience as a summer associate at a civil litigation firm in Center City Philadelphia. His practice areas there included insurance defense, complex commercial litigation, and workers' recovery. During his education, Mr. McAllister also worked in the Homicide Unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Attorney McAllister's notable defense cases include representing a client in an armed robbery case, resulting in an acquittal of more than 25 charges after a two-day jury trial, and successfully defending against a "second-strike" felony aggravated assault charge, which could have resulted in a mandatory 10-20 year sentence.

He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
