Dai Rosenblum

Dai Rosenblum, a seasoned attorney in Butler, Pennsylvania, specializes in consumer and small business bankruptcies. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law Center in 1979, following his Artium Baccalaureus from Vassar College in 1975 and a Diploma from Shady Side Academy in 1970. He pursued advanced studies in taxation, completing all but his dissertation for a Master of Laws at Georgetown University in 1980.

Mr. Rosenblum's extensive legal career includes serving as a Permanent Divorce Master for the Court of Common Pleas in Butler County. He has also held clerk positions with several judges, including President Judge John C. Dillon and Senior Judge George P. Kiester. During his time at Georgetown, he clerked for Patton, Boggs & Blow, and at U.S.C., he served as a Certified Law Clerk for the City Attorney’s Office of Santa Monica, California. Before attending law school, he worked as a paraprofessional with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and later served as in-house tax counsel for R.O. Solkovy & Associates, C.P.A. upon returning to Butler.

Actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Rosenblum is a member of both the Standing Bankruptcy Rules Committee and the Attorney Advisory Committee for the Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania. His expertise in bankruptcy law is further highlighted by his presentation at the 16th Annual Bankruptcy Institute in 2011 titled “How to Get Rich as Bankruptcy Counsel Without Getting into Trouble!”

In addition to his practice, Mr. Rosenblum has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor in business law at Butler County Community College in 1986 and in legal research and taxation at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1982. His commitment to legal service was recognized when he was named Butler County Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 1990.
