David M. Manes

David M. Manes is the Managing Partner at Kraemer, Manes & Associates, where he leads both the small business and litigation practices. His legal expertise includes representing small businesses, shareholders, employers, and employees in state and federal courts across Pennsylvania. Based near Pittsburgh, David is the go-to attorney for numerous small businesses seeking advice, consultation, and legal representation. Understanding that small businesses may not require a full-time attorney, he provides essential legal support whenever issues arise.

David's practice also involves substantial work in representing employees in disputes with employers and other litigation matters, where he diligently advocates for his clients' interests in both negotiations and court proceedings.

Before co-founding KM&A, David was a partner at the Kisner Law Firm, joining as an employee in 2010. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience with small businesses at Sain Law, LLC.

David earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, contributing as a staff editor for the award-winning JURIST legal news service and serving on the Moot Court Board. He was the champion of the Murray S. Love Mock Trial Competition. Before law school, he graduated summa cum laude from Harding University with a degree in Political Science.

His pro bono efforts include assisting low-income clients through Neighborhood Legal Services and the Christian Legal Aid clinic. David Manes is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
