Liberty Weyandt

Liberty J. Weyandt leads the Family Law Practice Group, bringing extensive expertise in family law matters such as divorce, equitable distribution, support, child custody, and pre and post-nuptial agreements. With over 18 years of litigation experience across several Pennsylvania counties, including Allegheny and Butler, Liberty is a seasoned advocate in her field.

In addition to her traditional litigation skills, Liberty is a trained Collaborative Law attorney and Mediator. For more than a decade, she has assisted clients in resolving disputes amicably without resorting to court proceedings. The Collaborative Process involves parties working with specially trained attorneys and sometimes other professionals to reach a mutually beneficial settlement, focusing on their specific interests. This approach allows clients to actively participate in negotiations and develop tailored solutions, often resulting in more efficient and cost-effective outcomes while maintaining privacy and family relationships.
