Thomas A. French

Thomas A. French is a highly regarded business and corporate trial attorney with more than thirty years of experience. Based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, he is recognized for his extensive work in commercial litigation. Mr. French has tried numerous cases to verdict and appeal, representing both prominent regional and national companies in critical business disputes. His practice areas include intellectual property, patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and non-compete and non-disclosure agreements. He is also known for representing shareholders and business owners in disputes over ownership and control, business valuation issues, and cases involving commercial fraud and the sale of businesses. His client list includes several of Pennsylvania's regional banks and insurance companies. Mr. French also handles litigation related to insurance coverage, bad faith insurance practices, and regulatory matters, frequently defending banks and individuals in trust and estate litigation where mismanagement of trust funds is alleged.

In addition to litigation, Mr. French provides counsel on a wide range of commercial transactions, decisions, and dispute resolution. Previously, he served as the chairman of his firm's litigation department and currently holds the position of general counsel.
