Lydia Horan Caparosa

Lydia Horan Caparosa serves as an Associate in the Litigation Department at MacDonald Illig, contributing her expertise to both the Commercial/General Litigation Practice Group and the Insurance/Personal Injury Practice Group. She is authorized to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Caparosa completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, earning degrees in Finance and International Politics in 2011. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During her time there, she gained valuable experience as a student law clerk for the Honorable Maureen P. Kelly, Chief Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and as a legal intern at Duquesne Light Company.

In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Ms. Caparosa was actively involved in various roles, including serving as a Pitt Law Ambassador, participating in the Pitt Law Women's Association, and volunteering as a tax preparer for the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
