About Joseph Korsak
Joseph Korsak began his legal journey after graduating from college in 1971. He initially worked for Marsh & McLellan in New York City before enrolling at the University of Toledo for law school in 1972. During his time there, he contributed to the law school governing board. After earning his degree, Joseph moved to York, Pennsylvania, to work as the sole law clerk for the judges of Pennsylvania’s 19th District.
In 1976, Joseph joined Frank B. Boyle as an associate. His active involvement in the Democratic party led to several solicitor appointments, including roles with the Block Grant Program of the York County Planning Commission, the York County Transportation Authority, the Clerk of Courts Marlyn Holtzapple, and York County Children & Youth. Through these positions, he played a significant role in safeguarding the welfare of numerous children.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Joseph pursued an LL.M. degree at Temple University in 1979. For three and a half years, he commuted weekly from York to Philadelphia, ultimately graduating in 1983. Following this achievement, he focused his career on building a robust employment practice. By 1990, Joseph dedicated his practice exclusively to labor law and employment.
