About Pamela Purdy

Pamela L. Purdy established the Purdy Law Office, LLC in March 2006, focusing her expertise on Family and Matrimonial Law. Her journey began with a B.A. from the University of Richmond in 1996, followed by a role as a tobacco litigation paralegal at Hunton and Williams in Richmond, Virginia. She furthered her education at the American University, Washington College of Law, earning her J.D. in 2000.

After law school, Ms. Purdy clerked for the Honorable Justin M. Johnson of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, where she primarily handled family law cases. Before launching her own firm, she was a family law associate at McNees Wallace and Nurick LLC in Harrisburg from 2001 to 2006.

Ms. Purdy is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has held roles such as Barrister in the Honorable William W. Lipsitt Inn of Court and past chair of the Dauphin County Young Lawyers Section. Her service includes acting as Paternity Counsel for the Dauphin County Domestic Relations Office and as a custody conference officer for the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas from 2009 to 2015.
