Hilary Peery Vesell

Hilary Peery Vesell is a seasoned trial attorney with a focus on family law and civil litigation. She holds a BA in psychology and an MA in clinical psychology, both from Columbia University, and earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

Hilary has contributed numerous articles to prestigious legal publications such as the Pennsylvania Lawyer and Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly. Her writings cover critical topics including mental illness in the legal system, co-parenting in custody cases, prenuptial agreements, parental alienation, and child sexual abuse allegations. Admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania courts, including the United States Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Hilary is also qualified to appear before the Supreme Court of the United States. She is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Dauphin County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice. Additionally, she is an active member of the family law sections of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association. Her peers recognized her expertise by selecting her to serve on the 2019-2020 Arbitration Board of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas.

Hilary actively participates in her community, serving on the South Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board, the Manada Conservancy Board, and the Cocoa Packs, Inc. Board. She volunteers with the Dauphin County Orphans’ Court Guardianship Pro Bono Monitor Program and is a trustee for Ben and Tim Day. Her community involvement extends to supporting the Hershey Food Bank and the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.
