Richard C. Sokorai

Richard C. Sokorai, a Partner at High Swartz LLP, focuses his legal practice on trials, appeals, and advisory roles for business entities, municipalities, and individuals. His expertise encompasses municipal, commercial, and tort matters. Rich has handled significant cases involving control disputes over closely held corporations, franchise disagreements, breach of fiduciary duty claims for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, construction conflicts, ordinance validity challenges, and substantial tort cases.

Rich has extensive trial experience in state courts, federal courts, boards of view, and administrative courts, including the Environmental Hearing Board and the Public Utility Commission. His role as Township Solicitor for Newtown Township, Delaware County, and his ongoing service as special counsel for litigation and land development matters, highlight his commitment to municipal law.

In addition to his municipal work, Rich advocates for soldiers in military employment and reemployment rights cases and represents individuals in protection from abuse actions. He serves as a Judge Advocate in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Rich earned his B.A. from Temple University and his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
