Jason Knight

Jason Knight is an accomplished attorney licensed to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and also admitted to the Rhode Island Federal District Court. With a robust background as a former Rhode Island state prosecutor, Jason leverages his extensive experience in criminal litigation to vigorously defend his clients' rights and interests.

Jason graduated with a law degree from Suffolk Law School in Boston in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, he served as a Special Assistant Attorney General at the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases. His expertise includes handling cases involving DUI, breathalyzer refusals, domestic violence, narcotics offenses, weapons charges, sexual assaults, child molestations, and homicide.

Jason is an active member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has contributed to the legal community as an author of “A Practical Guide to DUI in Rhode Island” published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc.

Before pursuing a legal career, Jason served as an enlisted nuclear propulsion technician in the United States Navy. He later obtained his undergraduate degree from Emerson College in Boston and worked as a theatrical production manager in the city's performing arts sector. Jason resides in Barrington, Rhode Island, with his family.

In addition to his legal practice, Jason is an at-large trustee with Temple Habonim in Barrington and a graduate of the 2010 class of Leadership Rhode Island.
