Kristin Matsko

Kristin Matsko focuses her legal practice on estate planning and probate administration in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She offers significant experience in elder law, corporate law, and real estate transactions. Kristin collaborates with individuals and families to design estate plans that align with their specific financial and familial circumstances, ensuring the effective transfer of wealth to chosen beneficiaries and future generations.

In her role, Kristin advises fiduciaries throughout the probate and estate administration processes, manages probate court appearances, and liaises with insurance and investment companies on behalf of estate and trust fiduciaries to ensure efficient claims and benefits administration. She represents fiduciaries in probate and trust court proceedings, addressing fiduciary liability issues, trust reformation, will contests, tax minimization petitions, and other general trust and estate administration matters. This work is often conducted in collaboration with attorneys from the Firm's Litigation Group.

Kristin is also an active speaker, frequently presenting on topics such as estate and gift tax planning strategies, the significance of personal planning for new parents and non-traditional families, as well as fiduciary duties and obligations.
