Kristine Trocki

Kristine S. Trocki founded her law firm in Jamestown, Rhode Island, in 2006, and has been practicing law in the state for over ten years. Her approach emphasizes creativity, intelligence, and mindfulness, providing clients with multiple strategies to meet their legal needs. Kristine holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and both an M.A. in Political Science and International Relations and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. In 2010, she became a certified Family & Divorce Mediator through Roger Williams University School of Law and is listed on the Rhode Island Court-Approved Mediator List. She is licensed to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and admitted to the United States District Court, District of Rhode Island, and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Before establishing her practice, Kristine gained valuable experience as an associate at Medeiros and Sanford, and as a litigation associate at Taylor, Duane, Barton & Gilman in Providence, RI, and Boston, MA, as well as at Harrison Law Associates in Providence.

Kristine's early legal experience includes clerking at Adler, Pollock & Sheehan and Tillinghast, Licht & Semonoff, and interning at the United States Attorney's Office in Providence, the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and the Rhode Island Public Defender's Office.

Active in her community, Kristine is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and American Bar Associations. She is also part of the Rhode Island Mediators Association, advocating for dispute resolution outside of litigation. In March 2011, she was elected to a three-year term on the board of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce. Kristine is involved with the Newport County Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Board of Trustees and as PTL President of the Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
