Christopher Adam D'Ovidio

Christopher A. D'Ovidio leads D'Ovidio Law, where he focuses on land use, zoning, environmental and property law, alongside municipal and administrative law, corporate formation, and wills and estates. His general practice also includes litigation. Christopher serves as General Counsel for the Pawtuxet River Authority, complementing his role as a land use law professor at Roger Williams University School of Law.

His previous roles include assistant solicitor for the Town of New Shoreham and attorney for the Conservation Law Foundation. He also worked as an environmental scientist and engineering technician with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

Christopher's contributions extend to various state and local boards, committees, and commissions, focusing on renewable energy, water allocation, affordable housing, water quality, and land use and zoning issues. He has been an invited speaker at the Rhode Island Bar Annual Meeting from 2010 to 2016, discussing recent developments in environmental and land use law.
