Amanda M. Allard offers a distinctive blend of legal expertise and diverse professional experience. Licensed in Rhode Island, Amanda transitioned into law after raising her two children, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her previous ventures. She has owned several businesses, including a laundromat and a residential construction company, the latter of which continues to operate. Her seven-year tenure in real estate as a buyer's and seller's agent in Rhode Island and Massachusetts further enriches her professional background.

Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from the RWU School of Law in August 2022. During her studies, she gained valuable experience through internships at Cabrini Green Legal Aid, the RWU Eviction Help Desk, Hampden County Bar Association Legal Clinic, HousingWorks RI, and the Family Court Mediation Unit in Rhode Island. She holds a certification in Mediation and received the CALI Award in Family and Divorce Mediation, Collision and Limitation of Liability, Climate Change Law & Policy, and Time Management Strategy.

After passing the bar, Amanda joined Liberty Mutual's insurance defense department, where she managed personal injury cases. She continues to work part-time in insurance defense, representing municipalities in Rhode Island.

Currently, Amanda operates her solo practice, New Legacy Law, with a primary focus on estate planning. Her services include wills, trusts, and special needs planning. Amanda is committed to creating a relatable and understandable legal experience for her clients, ensuring they feel engaged and informed throughout the process. She prioritizes building strong client relationships, offering a warm alternative to traditional legal practices.
