Nicholas A DaSilva

Nicholas A. DaSilva, a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2008. He excelled academically, graduating in the top 25% of his class, and was a candidate for Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society for Political Science majors. During his time at URI, Nicholas was actively involved with the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity, holding leadership roles such as Historian, President, and Judicial Chairman. His ongoing commitment to the fraternity includes serving on the Board of Directors of its Housing Corporation, reflecting his leadership and dedication.

Nicholas pursued his legal education at New England Law | Boston, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2011. He successfully passed the Rhode Island bar exam and was admitted to the state bar in November 2012. Shortly thereafter, in February 2013, he was admitted to practice before the federal bar.

For over eight years, Nicholas has been practicing law at the Law Offices of Edward Lawson. His practice areas include personal injury, landlord-tenant issues, real estate transactions, business law, and bankruptcy law. He represents clients across all state courts as well as in the federal district and bankruptcy courts. Nicholas is committed to providing compassionate and effective legal representation, striving to resolve both complex and simple legal matters for his clients.
