Mark D. Chappell Jr.

Mark D. Chappell Jr. is a seasoned attorney based in Aiken, South Carolina, with a focus on personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, nursing home abuse and neglect, commercial motor vehicle accidents, and intellectual property disputes. Mark graduated from Wofford College in 2010 and initially pursued a career as a banker in Charleston, South Carolina, before transitioning to law. He earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 2015.

During his time in law school, Mark was actively involved in the Student Bar Association and served as President of the South Carolina Association for Justice – South Carolina School of Law Chapter. His commitment to the legal field extended to clerking for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee and leading as Captain of the School of Law’s Mock Trial team, competing on a national level.

Mark's excellence and leadership were recognized when he received the 2015 Luther M. Lee Scholarship, an honor awarded by the Dean and faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Law to a third-year student demonstrating academic excellence, integrity, and leadership.
