About Clark Grounsell
Clark Grounsell is a skilled trial attorney with more than a decade of experience, committed to delivering effective legal solutions. After co-founding the medical device company Glytec, Clark traveled nationwide to promote FDA-approved technology to doctors and hospital chains. Upon returning to the Upstate, Clark began his legal career at a local DUI defense firm, where he learned from some of the state's most experienced DUI defense attorneys. He subsequently established his own solo practice, gaining extensive experience in both criminal and civil cases.
In 2016, Clark joined the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office as an assistant solicitor. Starting in the Traffic Unit, he managed cases including DUI, Felony DUI with Great Bodily Injury or Death, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights, Hit and Run, Habitual Traffic Offender, and Driving Under Suspension. He later moved to the Domestic Violence Unit, managing various domestic violence cases.
Clark concluded his tenure in the Drug Unit, where he became the Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit liaison. In this role, he oversaw significant drug cases, ranging from simple possession to large-scale trafficking, and handled violent crimes such as armed robbery, burglary, and murder.
Throughout his time at the solicitor’s office, Clark developed strong relationships with colleagues and law enforcement. His keen observations of defense attorneys and law enforcement interactions highlighted the need for exceptional representation and high standards.
