John Christopher Pracht

Christopher Pracht is the visionary behind Pracht Injury Lawyers, LLP, with offices strategically located in Anderson, Greenville, Camden, and Summerville, South Carolina. Based in the Greenville office, he is a seasoned attorney dedicated to personal injury, wrongful death, and significant injury claims throughout the state. His career spans over 15 years, during which he has secured more than $70 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients.

In July 2022, Mr. Pracht achieved a landmark $20,730,000 verdict in the wrongful death case of Zerihun Wolde, setting a record in Horry County, South Carolina. His practice extends beyond state lines, handling wrongful death cases in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alaska. With a robust network of co-counsel nationwide, he has recovered over $17 million for clients in 2023 alone.

Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, Mr. Pracht has been a steadfast advocate for grieving families for over 14 years. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2008 and gained valuable experience clerking for the Honorable J. Cordell Maddox of the South Carolina Circuit Court. He established his own practice in Anderson in 2009.

Before his legal career, Mr. Pracht earned a B.A. in political science from the College of Charleston. His early career was shaped by working with Alex Sanders, a renowned South Carolina trial lawyer and retired chief justice, inspiring him to focus on representing everyday people.
