Eric Erickson, born and raised in Spokane, WA, is an accomplished attorney practicing in Beaufort, South Carolina. He is one of five children of Dr. Mayo and Elaine Erickson. Eric completed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University in 1984. He then pursued graduate studies in architecture at the University of Michigan while attending law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at night.
Following his father's legacy, Eric joined the military around the time of Desert Storm, serving as an army medic. He received further training as a doctor's assistant and contributed to the ER-trauma team at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center. After receiving an honorable discharge in 1996, Eric transitioned to a legal career, starting as an Assistant Public Defender.
In 1998, Eric established his own private practice in Beaufort, SC. He also served on the staff of the South Carolina Attorney General as a Special Assistant prosecutor, focusing on domestic violence cases.
