Larry Wayne Weidner

Larry Wayne Weidner hails from Oklahoma and is a distinguished attorney in Beaufort, South Carolina. He earned his AB in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College in 1985. After graduation, he pursued rugby in New Zealand before returning to the U.S. to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, graduating in 1988.

Following law school, Mr. Weidner joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for eight years in various key roles. He was the Chief Trial Counsel for the four Western Marine Corps Air Bases and Senior Defense Counsel at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, Beaufort Naval Hospital, and the Eastern Recruiting Region. Additionally, he served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, and the Eastern Recruiting Region. Promoted to Major in October 1996, he resigned in December of the same year to establish his practice in Beaufort.

Beyond his legal career, Mr. Weidner is an accomplished pilot, having been licensed since age 17. He holds a commercial pilot's license with single, multi-engine, and instrument ratings, along with specialized aerobatics training. His teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct professor of Business Law and aviation-related subjects at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Mr. Weidner's competitive spirit is evident both in the courtroom and in his personal pursuits as a martial artist, rower, cyclist, and shooter. He is the primary litigator at his law firm, focusing on personal injury, divorce and custody, criminal, military, and aviation law.
